PogoRev

Privacy

PogoRev is a small, non-commercial fan site run by one person (the admin). This page says what it keeps about you, who can see it, how long it's kept, and how to take it back. It describes this server's actual settings.

What's stored

  • Your account: username, a hash of your password (never the password itself), and — if you sign in with Google or Discord — that account's id, name and email.
  • Your Pokémon: what the scanner read or you entered (species, IVs, level, CP, flags, nickname, notes, weight and catch date / place from the appraisal screen), your settings, and alerts.
  • Your scans: what the scanner read from each screenshot or video frame, and any corrections you made.
  • Your screenshots and video frames, stored compressed, so you can check what was read. Screen recordings themselves are deleted as soon as they've been scanned; only the frames used are kept.
  • Your uploads list: file names, sizes and results of your recent uploads.
  • Signed-in devices: the browser's description and address, so you can sign devices out from your Account page.

No ads, no analytics, no tracking cookies: the only cookies are your sign-in and a security token for forms. Game data comes from PvPoke; nothing about you is sent there.

Who can see it

  • Other members can't see your collection, scans, images or settings.
  • Your friends — people whose friend request you accepted, or who accepted yours — see which of your spare Pokémon could be worth a trade to them: species, shiny, costume and how many copies — never IVs, CP, nicknames or where they were caught. Turn that off on the Friends page. Anyone signed in can send you a friend request if they know your username.
  • The site admin runs the server, so they could look at the database; the Admin pages show each account's usage (Pokémon count, scans, disk space, last sign-in), not your Pokémon.
  • Backups: the admin's backups of the whole database include your data until they're deleted. Images aren't in those backups.

How long it's kept

  • Screenshots and frames are kept while their Pokémon is in your collection. When you mark a Pokémon transferred or traded, its images are deleted 30 days later; what the scanner read is kept, so uploading the same screenshot or recording again is recognised instead of adding it back.
  • Each account can keep up to 4.0 GB of images.
  • Your uploads list is cleared 30 days after each upload finished scanning.
  • Signed-in devices are signed out after 30 days without a visit.
  • Everything else stays until you delete it (below).

Taking it with you, or deleting it

  • Export your collection any time as CSV or JSON: Account → My data.
  • Reset your scan history or your whole collection on My data: those scans and their images are deleted at once.
  • Delete your account on the Account page: your account, Pokémon, scans, settings and images are deleted at once. Copies in older backups go when the admin deletes those backups — ask them if you'd like that done sooner.

PogoRev is an unofficial fan tool, not affiliated with Niantic, Scopely or The Pokémon Company. It never logs in to your game account; it only reads screens you upload.
